By accessing or using the Life Engine Back Office Portal (“Portal”) operated by Life Engine Management Corp (“Life Engine,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.
The Portal provides AI-guided book production services, including project management, AI co-authoring (via ORION), editorial workflows, and manuscript development tools. Access is by invitation only and requires an authorized account.
Your content: You retain ownership of all original content you submit to the Portal, including manuscripts, outlines, notes, and creative materials. By using the Portal, you grant Life Engine a limited license to process your content as necessary to deliver our services (including AI processing for coaching and editorial assistance).
Our platform: The Portal, its design, code, AI systems, workflows, and branding are the intellectual property of Life Engine Management Corp. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Portal.
ORION and other AI features generate suggestions, outlines, drafts, and editorial feedback. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and requires your review, approval, and editorial judgment before incorporation into your work. Life Engine does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content included in your final manuscript.

We strive to maintain Portal availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Portal may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
Service fees are as outlined in your individual service agreement with Life Engine. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Portal; payment terms are specified in your separate service contract.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Life Engine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Portal, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you have paid to Life Engine in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, you may request an export of your project data within 30 days. After 30 days, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Portal notification. Continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
