• Provide, maintain, and improve the Back Office Portal and book production services.
• Power AI-assisted book development through ORION, our co-authoring system.
• Send service-related notifications (project updates, checkpoint reviews, account alerts).

4. AI Processing

Your project content is processed by AI language models (provided by Anthropic) to deliver book coaching, writing assistance, and editorial feedback. Your content is sent to the AI provider solely for the purpose of generating responses within the portal. We do not use your content to train AI models. The AI provider's data handling is governed by their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements with them.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. We use HTTPS encryption in transit, multi-factor authentication options, and defense-in-depth access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we implement industry-standard protections appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), Sentry (error monitoring), Resend (email delivery).
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or government request.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Sentry may set cookies for error monitoring in production environments.
